I have certainly experienced a lot of live music since that very first Elvis Presley concert in 1973. The following list is strictly based on venues that have a significant place in my heart or had an impact on my life as a fan of great music. Throughout the years, I have been privileged to attend a staggering number of concerts and live music events at locations around the world. I knew it wouldn’t be an easy task since I have attended shows at nearly a thousand different venues since my first concert on Jat the Mobile Municipal Auditorium. I was recently asked “if you had to make a list of your all-time favorite music venues, which ones would top that list?” Surprisingly, I had never made such a list, though it sounded like a fun thing to do.
